We will be made into the image of something. If we simply show up and meet quotas, we will conform to the bureaucratic model, and become a Bureaucratic Saint. If we only follow our own hearts and desires, we will get the selfishness we seek, and become a Saint of Self-Realization. If we chase the numbing escape of entertainment, we will disappear into the souls of fictitious heroes.

To move toward Christlikeness, humans need a form that conforms to our essence - Christ. Centuries ago, the Benedictines hit on a daily rhythm that facilitates human flourishing in Christ. So a central piece of our program is internalizing the way we structure our days and weeks.
